Apples, granola bars and yoghurt are all I brought with me today... Gah. Poor planning.

I'm enjoying some delicious clam chowdah.

I came in late and don't want to stay late, so I didn't take a lunch break. So far, I've sustained myself with half a poppy seed bagel with FF
cream cheese (ew), pineapple chunks, one Reeses PB cup and a mini Orange Chocolate Twix bar. Good thing it's halloween season in the office.
The partner's meeting is just letting out. There should be some good leftovers soon. |

Haven't had decent clam chowdah in years, GenXer. My late SO and I used to go to a Mom-and-pop eatery that was fairly good, but their clam
chowder...NOT! They took their potato soup recipe and added rubbery clams to it. Even the waitresses used to joke about
taking the clams and bouncing them off the walls when things got slow...

I hosted a perogy making party yesterday. Pure deliciousness. And I have tons of leftovers!

I'm debating between two recipes for tonight:
http://www.eatingwell.com/recipes/pasta_with_greens_tomato_sauce.html -or- http://www.eatingwell.com/recipes/penne_with_vodka_sauce_capicola.html

Went with the second one, with pistachios, candied ginger, and raspberry tartlet thingies for appetizer and dessert. Next time, I think I'll leave the
worchestershire out of the pasta sauce. Made it way too sweet.
